Galileo, the API standard for card issuing and digital banking, has announced the appointment of Sheri Chin as head of marketing. A seasoned fintech business leader with deep experience in global payments, banking, lending, eCommerce and SaaS platforms, Chin will spearhead Galileo’s global marketing and brand initiatives to accelerate and amplify the company’s phenomenal growth momentum.

“Sheri has an incredible track record of helping high-growth companies build their brand, scale and grow revenue to deliver sustainable, long-term value,” said Galileo Chief Revenue Officer Seth McGuire. “Her deep experience creating global B2B and B2B2C marketing strategies will support Galileo’s mission to empower our fintech partners’ innovation, growth and success. We’re thrilled to bring Sheri’s creativity and leadership to our team.”

Prior to joining Galileo, Chin worked with early stage, emerging and established brands including American Express, Official Payments, ACI Worldwide and BFS Capital, where she led enterprise and SMB marketing efforts, driving strategy and execution across all channels.

“Galileo’s powerful technology platform is enabling our business partners based in North America and Latin America–as well as UK-based partners operating in the Americas–to reimagine and advance the financial services ecosystem,” said Chin. “I’m honored and privileged to have the opportunity to tell Galileo’s story and demonstrate how the company’s suite of solutions is helping partners innovate faster and better to exceed their customers’ expectations. Most importantly, I’m proud to join the Galileo team, whose culture and people are dedicated to delivering sophisticated payment card and digital banking solutions.”

Chin holds a BA in economics from Stanford University and an MBA from the University of Pennsylvania, Wharton School.
